This one is here for dramatic effect - the story is probably better than the photo. This is a clearing along the Whiskey Rapids Trail. After hiking along the trail for some time this is not what you want to see when you come out of the woods far from shelter. It was taken at about 2 p.m. in the afternoon! Actually those ugly clouds never gave us any rain.
